Senior Pastor

Rev. Antione J. Hutchins, M.Div., a native of Sussex County, Delaware, has served in various areas of Christian ministry including Minister of Music, National Evangelist, and Senior Pastor. His passions include preaching and church revitalization.

Pastor Hutchins presently serves as Senior Pastor of the Christian Unity Baptist Church of Waldorf, MD. After just six years under his leadership, the church has grown from 39 to just shy of 800 active members. Due to the rapid and unprecedented growth, a second and third worship service and the need to renovate the current facility was facilitated in order to expand seating and accommodate the church’s membership. While at Christian Unity, Pastor Hutchins also founded The Unity Corporation, a non-profit community development corporation geared toward the preservation of the history and legacy left by previous generations, while equipping and empowering the youth of today. Pastor Hutchins is the president and CEO of AJHutchins Ministries which serves as the evangelistic thrust of his ministry.

Pastor Hutchins is an anointed and skilled psalmist who brings deliverance to the people of God through his music ministry. In October of 2013, after signing with SOV Music, his widely anticipated debut project, with the Christian Unity Choir, was recorded live at the Christian Unity Baptist Church. In July of 2014 he released a CD entitled “He Still Loves Me”. Pastor Hutchins and the Christian Unity Choir were recipients of the Independent Gospel Artists Alliance for the Gospel Blue M.I.C. Achievement awards for “Best Album/CD of the Year” and “Choir of the Year”.

A graduate of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, at Virginia Union University, Pastor Hutchins holds a Masters of Divinity and is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Educational Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary at Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky.

Pastor Hutchins is on a mandate by God, not only to preach and sing, but also to teach the people of God the value of worship, while bringing the revelation of God’s word in a practical way so that people may grasp and apply it to everyday life.
